Getting ready

Well, things are still good here :-) Meirah is sleeping well at night, so that gives me time during the day when my brain is mostly functional to think through the process of setting something up on etsy. I have maybe 14 things so far to list for sale, I just need to pick up some packing materials and figure out shipping costs and then I will announce my grand opening! Below are some teaser photos, I was messing around today getting pictures of the items ready.

I guess the only delimma left is what to name some of the designs. Some of them got names as they were being worked, others I am still at a loss for. It would be much too boring to just call them "red earrings with beads" or something sad like that. They all have personality.

Everything is so lovely!

I had an idea about naming your work. You must have a Baby Naming Book, right? Lok up a name..... Audrey, say and then pick an modifier .... Audacious ....Audacious Audrey, Rebellious Rose, etc.... If not names,(these are bad I know)then some other book - dictionary, bible, whatever, and brainstorm from there...... Just a thoug!
Good work. Fox : )

Everything is beautiful! I have no ideas for names... it was tough enough naming my daughters!

Wow, those are fantastic pieces! I love the shaded green earrings with the leaf beads. Love them, I say! I'm sure you'll do well.

That is very cool that you are opening up an Etsy shop! Good luck to you. Your pieces look much nicer than many of the newer shops I'm seeing on there lately. Your photos are very nice, too.

Love the necklace. I know how you feel about naming things. No-one ever likes the names I come up with. My mom renamed my cat.

I think the colours of the cottons and beads are just fantastic, not forgetting the work which is great, they should all sell well.
A suggestion is jade or leaf teardrop for the green ones with beads and cherry teardrops for the red. But I also think Fox's suggestion of Rebellious Rose is just right for the muliti-coloured one!! I'll shut up now!!!

Hun, I am so proud. You are so talented! I also wish you success with your etsy. Add your shop address link to your e-mail signatures... you never know that someone might need an idea for a gift at the time they see the signature.
