Busy busy busy!

Sigh, poor ol' Dr. Von Threadmore is getting restless. I told her that the dye could come out again after the move, but it looks like our closing date for the house will be bumped out to February. So I may have to indulge her before then.

Christmas is on the way apparently, however I'm still swimming in a certain river in Egypt if you know what I mean..... DENIAL! This time of year is so crazy. Our anniversary was at the beginning of the month. We took the kids to the Olive Garden restaurant and called it good. The bigtime Christmas production is this weekend, so we have set up and rehearsals on top of regularly scheduled events, and I think I'll even miss the Lace Guild's Christmas shindig. Pooh. I feel sorry for my little darling two year old. With all the fuss over the house and work and a funeral we did last week, Hubby and I are so unmotivated about the holiday. We didn't want to dig out all of the christmas decorations so we got a little houseplant type tree and put some lights on it, but I don't think the presents are even wrapped. I still have a week right lol?

Not very many posts lately because I haven't gotten much tatting done. I did finish the bracelet you see at the top of the post, and I'm doing some bookmarks that a friend requested. Other than that my little brain is fried :-)

PRETTY bracelet Krystal! I like the texture the picots add and purple is a long time favorite color.

This Christmas may be a little different because of all you have going on, but I imagine your little girl won't mind a bit. Isn't it great how they don't have HUGE expectations at this age? And just think of the fun you will have next Christmas in your new home!

You sound very busy! It's a wonder you're able to get any posting done! Your bracelet is lovely. Hopefully next Christmas will be more relaxing once you're settled in that new house! :)

Another pretty piece! Ok, so my birthday is in February, & I'm hoping some of these necklaces or bracelets find their way to your etsy shop. LOL!

I'm liking what you're doing with the rhinestone jewelry. Very pretty. Congrats on the new house. February and the insanity that goes along with moving will be here before you know it! Your little girl will probably not even remember that there wasn't a tree and all the hoopla. Just spoil her a little bit more.

Oh yes Katie, they are on the way to my shop as we speak :-)

My brain is just tired reading all that's on your agenda!

First of all - Congrats on the anniversary!

And congrats on the new house, too - but moving is lots of work, especially with two little ones to tend to! (Cute photos of your beautiful daughters!) Then there are the holiday church services and events. Yikes!

Fortunately, the 2-year-old is really too young to 'miss' having a tree this year. (Our great nephew of same age didn't want anything to do with Santa at the Mall!) So just let things stay as calm as possible for now! You have enough on your plate!

I'm very impressed with those beautiful bracelets! Are you using a clasp of some kind to put them on your wrist? This is a very cool idea and I think you've opened up new vistas for tatted jewelry! Very creative!
