The assembly of tatting corner is still in process. The chair has arrived, as well as a special something dear hubby let me buy. More info to come after the little ones are in bed lol......
You know what I remember about the child-filled days? Backaches; at one tine I really thought I'd never have a back that didn't hurt. In fact, I'd go places without a child (not often) and I would sit there and rock! Waiting for things to arrive! When we were flooded out in 97, the Salvation army had given us some soup. And, so I opened the can of soup, got out the two cups we had; and, then realized we had no spoons! Not only that, we had no pan to warm the soup! DH and I just looked at each other and burst out laughing! It was so dreadful that it was funny. We'd been put up in a ghetto apt. and we chose a interior bedroom to spread blankets on the floor because it was safer. I'm so glad you are warm and snug and have little ones to hug ~ even though it can be tiring and frustrating to move. hugs, Bev of the bullets that often flew by night
LOL! I currently have 2 with a 3rd on the way. My oldest loves to always play with someone and my youngest enjoys playing with someone but also enjoys playing by herself. The other day my oldest came up to me almost in tears that her sister didn't want to play with her. I said, "Oh honey, that's why we're having another baby so you'll have someone else to play with." Yeah, probably wasn't the "right" thing to say, but...sometimes... ;)
Meet my alter ego. She expresses all of the emotion and behaves in a manner that I never would own to. This thread dyeing extrordinaire only appears in the wee hours after the pitter patter of little feet has faded. Stay tuned for tales from the Laboratory....
