I'm feeling "Listy"

To continue the theme of the last post,

I've made another list.

This is my tatting "to-do" list.

In no particular order-

  • Learn Block tatting.
  • Finish TAT phase 1
  • Make a pink pendant that was requested by a friend.
  • Make a lanyard for my lace guild name tag
  • Make it to the online class tomorrow! I've not made it since it resumed!
  • Make pattern diagrams for my earrings
  • Learn Maltese rings! I don't yet have a use for them, but I'm sure I will someday.
  • Cover nine bazillion ornaments for christmas

So what about you? What's on your tatting to-do list?

Hmmm... let me see... cover nine bazillion ornaments for Christmas (purchased 3 years ago), tat motifs for 36 more coasters, finish TAT phase 1 (started 2 1/2 years ago), tat from Jon's new book, clean my sewing room so that I can block what I tat... I think we both have pretty extensive lists!

I am an inveterate list-maker. If I spent as much time completing the items as I do composing the list, I would be able to tick off the boxes!

I have far to much to put on a list!! LOL My girlfriend is having a craft sale at her home in November and wants some tatting to sale. You really never know what people will buy!?!?! We just had our Thanksgiving here in Canada and today being holiday Monday I'm hoping to get some tatting done and left over turkey eaten.

Listing ~ as in tipping over from the load on your list? (sorry, I luv puns)
Lists are a good time management tool. I have A (must do), B (must do but less intensive; and C (yawn, get to them by the end of the year; or perhaps the next!)
My A list: Get downstairs (no small journey for Bev) and sync my new 'puter with the new printer. Finish Bekah's edging. Mail two promised parcels. Begin Christmas tatting (I want to do as much of 12 Days of Christmas (Pam Palmer) as I can in 2 months. AND upload all the my photos for Design-Tat Class.
B list. Do October blog ~ need the photos for that!
C. Get Flu Shot (if they ever come to New Mexico) and get my hair cut (again) before the style is totally lost!
Let's see a NEW A ~ Get some Rest because reading our lists just tired me out! LOL
X Bev

SO many tatting to-dos!

Write a ba-jillion backlogged blog posts about tatting, tat four thank you gifts and/or prizes for other tatting bloggers who have sent me wonderful gifts and tips, tat four motifs for holiday gifts for family, write and post National Treasure blog post (Georgia Seitz!) and mail off her gift, organize my tatting reference books (sort of a mini-library), and the list goes on...
