And now for something different...

Hot off the shuttles--

I'm back in Jewelry mode. I hadn't listed much on ETSY lately, and the catch with Etsy is that you tend to get buried in the lists if you are not adding things.....so I went on a mad spree.

I just listed this set this morning. I was totally inspired by Bina's class at shuttlebirds, so this neclkace is made with two shuttles, but each rolled chain is done with one shuttle so they could intertwine as I went along.

I've also used some of my precious supply of vintage swarovski crystal pieces in the set. I love me some sparkly bling!

Here is a closeup of the chain,

And a self-portrait. I'm quite pleased with the pieces. I may have to make another set for myself.

Here is a simple flower on a chain.

This is probably my best selling desing. I've done it in pink and orange before. Thought purple would be nice.

This pattern finally got refined and named, I call the "Festival" earrings.

More lace on rhinestones! A bracelet.

Last, one more pair of earrings. I was trying to make an interesting photo with this little box as a prop, until I noticed that you can see my pink and black striped shirt in the reflection....as well as the camera! I will have to try that again.....
Anyway, that's what I've been up to. Still working on some bigger WIPs, I'll have to show you the doily I'm doing for the fair sometime. It's gonna take awhile, so it might be next year's fair with my track record of finishing things!
May your day be Gotatsic! ( I think it makes an excellent salutation.....read the post below for the whole story )

What a lot of lovely goodies, does the Dr help with all this, or is it all your own work!

Your "Lady in the Garden" set is very beautiful!!!! The green threads are my favorite. I think that makes me an autumn. Not sure. Great work. You have been busy. I also have enjoyed your pictures of the Shuttlebird weekend of tatting. Makes my start looking forward to our tatting weekend in September. I hope Dr. Von Threadmore has been behaving.

Hi Krystle,
You really makes some awesome designs. Love the colors. They are so in style(not quite my style-of which my daughter says I have none, but I think they are really great!).
Have a great day! Sue

OMG that necklace is so awesome! It's so delicate and beautiful and looks like it should be made of gold instead of thread. You've done wonderful tatting there.

I have a suspicion that you're hiding a third personality, who does all this tatting while you sleep! Otherwise I have no idea how you can accomplish all this work in such a short time! I'd still be relaxing after that great trip to Shuttlebirds!

Wonderful tatting and fabulous ideas!

Thank you for sharing your eye candy with me. Each piece is beautiful! And I love the earring/necklace set. How do you part with these beauties in order to sell them?

Which earrings do you mean UminTsuru? I will be making some more like the ones from the set for sure.

Hi Krystle,

THANK YOU for your visit to my blog, and your encouraging comment. It means so much to me!

Your jewellery is simply beautiful and I should aspire to do this one day in the future is what I saw played through my head the first time I saw tatting.

What a gift and talent you were blessed with. Do you see patterns in your mind at night when you go to sleep? I do, haha! Sometimes so much I have to get up and do them or I can't fall asleep.

I have a lovely pair of clip on earrings I found at a thrift store, they have a white disk in the middle and then little rhinestones all around. I think I could take the clips off the back and make the disks, with tatting around the edge, seperate necklace pendants.

I look forward to your next creations. I am wondering if you might give me permission to put a few of your jewel pics on my blog so I can show what is possible when I grow up to be a real tatter haha, with of course, a link to your blog? I'd love to do an interview with you, say 5 questions or so to go with it? What do you think?

~ TATa for now *snort*
