Wow, I just realized how long it's been since I posted anything I've actually tatted! I swear I've been tatting away. Self imposed bed rest is over, we are home free to deliver any time now. In fact last night was a pretty good false alarm. I never had false labor with my first, so I'm glad to know now and be able to tell the difference and not be calling the midwife every ten minutes :-)
here is what I accomplished in my two days of sitting. (BTW hi-five to hubby for keeping things from exploding around here for me while I relaxed!)
Here is Iris Neibach's Nora done in Oren Bayan. I love the colors, but made mistakes so it's not my favorite piece in the world. It looks summery and was inspired by my desire to own this set of dishes:
I also finished the first four projects from the TAT program. I'm only posting tidbits, I don't want to spoil the fun for those of you wanting to start the program as well. These are just teasers :-)
Last of all, at some point in the tatting maddness I threw these earrings together just to take a break from all the other stuff. Not blocked yet, but you get the idea.
Now it's time to get my darling little 2 yr old all ready for bed. After that, some dishes, and then some American Idol and more Tatting! I'm savoring every stitch.

XX Fox : )
Wow, that is such a pretty doily and the colors you used are awesome. You never know where inspiration will come from. I love how you got the color scheme from the dishes. I do the same thing. I was in church and looking at the stained glass windows thinking how cool the four colors in the window would look in a doily. Cranberry, Teal, Gold & Sage green. Your earrings are pretty too!
Good luck with the birth. I hope all goes well and you will have a beautiful baby soon.
Take Care!
Very cool! You've been very busy tatting! Lovely pieces! :)
Ultra beautiful!
You do great tatting.
Lots of luv and best wishes,
Vinnie
LOVE the colours of the doily. MEGGA pretty.
Wow, I like your use of colours - dynamic!
I love the colors you chose for the doily! You certainly have accomplished a lot!. Now I'm thinking that the colors I chose for the T.A.T. program are way too boring. Your sense of color is amazing!
The doily is awesome! Love the colors and I hope you can get your dishes in combination! lol I wrote to TAT and I'm waiting answer. I started the program in the first year of it and never completed the 1st stage. I lost the binder. :-(
Your post title fooled me, LOL - I was expecting new baby pictures...I guess it will be any time now!
Your tatting is spectacularly gorgeous!
I'm just about to send in my stuff for TAT too! Your teasers look great.
Those are some great color combinations! Very pretty doily too.
I like it! I was never a fan of this pattern before, but your take on it makes me want to take a stab at it. And I really do need to find my TAT binder and get started, too. Relax and enjoy yourself!
Nora is very lovely! Am I allowed to hate you for producing such perfect double dimpled rings? Project 2 was very nearly my undoing in phase I. I rehearsed it over and over for days and weeks and would refer to it as the 'dimpled boogers' project. Never, did it look as good as yours, but I passed! Nice work.
Lots of beautiful colours on your tatting! Very pretty.
Thanks all!
Yarnplayer- Lol I promise I will post legitimate pics as soon as baby is here!
Suzanne- Double LOL! I swear I was just lucky, I bet it has something to do with the thread, I used Lizbeth and it is pulled so tight it is rediculous. Way to go on passing though!
